GCP Nepal has arrived

Received word at 3am EST that the Nepal group had arrived safely in Kathmandu, Nepal. All groups have now checked in and are on location.  GCP 2013 has officially begun!

GCP Nepal has completed first leg

Just received word that the Nepal group has arrived in Doha, Qatar where they will have a short overnight layover before continuing to Kathmandu at 5am (Doha time).

GCP Bulgaria has arrived

The Bulgaria group has arrived in Sofia.

GCP Ireland has arrived

The Ireland group has arrived safely in Dublin.

GCP Rwanda has arrived

Just got a phone call from group leader Amy Sarch.  Although the connection was a bit fuzzy, we were able to talk for a few moments, and I could hear lots of happy chatter in the background.  They have arrived in Rwanda safely and are with their guide.  Their luggage was delayed in transit, but they expect to be able to get it tomorrow.  Amy reports that all are in good spirits and excited to be there.

Ireland and Nepal groups depart

Both the groups going to Ireland and Nepal left campus one hour ago.  By now they should be checking in for their flights.

About half of the GCP Ireland group as departed campus together this afternoon.  Others in the group are meeting at the airport and in Ireland.

GCP Nepal has the longest journey ahead of them: about 12 hours to Doha, Qatar, a mini-overnight layover and then an early morning flight to Kathmandu lasting about 5 hours.  We don't expect to hear from them until Sunday morning our time.  Here they are all cozy in the bus to the airport.  Ready for a really long day(s)!

GCP Panama has arrived, Bulgaria departs

We've received word that the GCP Panama group has arrived safely.

GCP Bulgaria has left campus for their late afternoon flight to Sophia, Bulgaria by way of Frankfurt, Germany.
